I was at Camp Garland that night. We had been there many times, but we never really considered going to Camp Scott. The only way to get there was to either cross the road, or go down the creek....that night, as hard as it was raining, the creek was running high and fast until very early in the morning, hard to get from one side of the road to the other.........and besides, do you think boys ages 12-16 are really going to be able to come up with that kind of hatred, murder, evilness and never brag about it? It was GLH.

Thank you, JK71, for clearing me on taking a different way into Camp Garland, that matches what I recall. And, NO; I don't feel the Boy Scouts had that kind of hatred for the Girl Scouts - we did SILLY things to each other, for crying out loud! It was funny, if you were there. Wantinfotoo, I concur; something was greatly amiss, or GLH WOULD'VE turned state's evidence. The SLOPPY way things were handled, contamination of the scene, you just couldn't convict GLH beyond a shadow of a doubt on his own!
